After seeing how emotional Ricky Taylor was in his interview, literally crying into Filipe Albuquerque's arms after it I think it less about blaming himself and ending their relationship with Acura that way, and more about being straight shellshocked. It was a very scary accident, running a race pace directly into a crashed car sitting still on the track that Ricky just couldn't see at this dark, barely lit track full of hills and blindspots even in daylight.
