Mastodawn

The common #daisy, #Bellis #perennis (#Asteraceae), was originally native to the #Mediterranean region, Western Asia, and North Africa. It arrived in Central Europe through early human activity and is therefore named an #archaeophyte. A. Rathore et al. (2024) identified two #begomoviruses from it for the first time using PCR and full-length DNA analysis.
