Largest individual airport parking garages in the USA/Canada: 2025 REWRITE

Expanded Indianapolis International Airport Garage – Source: indystar.com

The following list identifies the largest individual parking garages/decks at airports in the United States and Canada. The rankings are based on the number of parking spaces and include public parking and/or rental car parking spaces. Many of the airports listed have multiple parking facilities. Data regarding parking structures for Canadian airports remains somewhat difficult to find, though quite a few more airports are represented here than in the original 2016 post.

Abbreviations/notes:

  • ConRAC – consolidated rent-a-car (or rental car) facility
  • U/C – under construction
  • In most cases, if the name of the garage is not given then there is only one at the airport.
  • Data includes public parking and rental car parking garages with a minimum of 1,000 spaces (versus 4,000 in the original post from 2016) , whether built at one time such as the Detroit McNamara Parking Garage or over time with additions and expansions. The parking garage must be a single individual structure.
  • The updated list includes the date the parking garage was completed if the information is known. If it was enlarged or expanded a second date is also provided.

As always, any additions and/or corrections are welcome.

Peace!
