Yesterday was as bad - or worse - than expected.
The #pantomine was dreadful. I know I said I hate them, but it was a poor production and incredibly long. It was 3 hours including the interval, no wonder most of the children were getting disruptive.
The amateur dramatic company doing it are normally excellent, but this was, frankly, a disaster.
Even Sacha didn't enjoy it - and she enjoys everything!
My son cooked a meal for us when we got back with his children, but I wasn't in the mood to enjoy it and it gave me indigestion in the night.
Today? It's an allotment trip - we need more sprouts, and I'll see if I can get some leeks up without needing a road drill.
Have a good one y'all!
The Pavilion Theatre on Renfield Street in Glasgow. Designed by Bertie Crewe in a French Baroque style, it opened as the Palace of Varieties in the 29th of February 1904, making it one of Glasgow's oldest surviving theatres. In 1920, it put on its first pantomine, an annual event that was many Glaswegian kids first taste of visiting a theatre. It continues to put on pantomimes each Christmas to this day.

It's that time of year again! Can't you smell it in the air? Oh, nevermind I'm driving through Gary, Indiana.
But the crew at @AwesomeAstronomy has released their annual Xmas panto podcast episode
*** Beware, stiff profanity (phnar phnar) in the outtakes at the end *** Our Christmas Pantomime sees the Awesome Astronomy crew exploring strange new worlds on the Astronomy Star Ship (ASS) Penetrator. Between the puerile skits you’ve come to expect from our end of year shows, we bring you a roundup of the best astronomy and space exploration news from 2022. And, of course, a look forward to the highlights to come in 2023. To all our listeners, a very merry Christmas, happy holidays and a prosperous 2023 (download or die!).
