So, at last OPL3 express on #atarist can replay something. Vgm/dro/imf replay on delays works, but it's still not ideal. Good enough for rough prototype. So, next will be adding oplxlpt drivers implementation.  #opl3express #opl2 #opl3

One long evening and I've adapted OPL3Duo!/Arduino/RPi OPL2.play (vgm, dro, imf simple, console player) to work with my custom opl2/3 driver / interface layer. I can replay tunes via USB OPL3 Express under Windows. In theory it should also work under Linux / Atari TOS (via USB / centronics). Spent some time writing my opl2/3 driver framework for atari st/win/linux in c99. Nothing very fancy right now, just loading opl2 instrument presets and playing note. opl3 express behaves the same on atari/linux and windows. Adding opl3(2)lpt driver support will be now super easy 😎. #atarist #opl2 #opl3 #opl3express
