Watching second game. It's frustrating for an intermediate player to see Thai experts miss IMPIETY and EXEC(UT)ION, but these are not English-as-a-first-language players.

Catching up with tonight's repeat of a first series episode of #OnlyConnect and it's amusing to see Ray Ward as one of the team captains as I remember him being the subject of a trivia-based prank on the TV series Balls of Steel years ago that saw him getting furious at wrong answers.
Just watched S1E1 of #OnlyConnect only 18 years late (I discovered the show at about series 4).
It was much less rough around the edges than I’d expected. Pretty much fully formed.
The questions have got a lot harder since then though, and the teams stronger.
In this episode I got many questions before either team, including one 5-pointer, and another that neither team got.
During the connecting wall round Victoria did seem excessively disapproving at any misstep!
