Could someone recommend USA online banks for checking account & #highYieldSavings account with websites that work in Firefox?

- Discover Bank would eventually close post-merger.
- Ally Bank, Synchrony Bank, & Capital One 360 are out.
- Bank of America had clunky website few years ago when had a credit card for a year.
- How is American Express (currently have CDs)?

I have to say, so far the best bank I’ve had is #Wise which is an online bank, never had problems with them, you can open accounts in different currencies in one click (euro, dollars, canadian dollars etc.) and with just 1 card it will pay in the appropriate currency.

It doesn’t complain when you’re doing payments yourself, but detects and blocks fraudulent uses of your card.
You can convert money between your accounts at the current exchange rate with a much smaller fee than other banks (as far as I know).

Also it’s the only bank that spontaneously gave me money (just to cover some of their fees, but still)!

The only issue you might have is because it’s an online-only bank, some companies will not accept payment from them, but that has happened less and less recently.
