The only character I can truly answer this for is Gumbar. She expresses herself however she wants and it doesn't make her any less of who she is. She has never felt the need to alter herself. Gumbar is Gumbar and Gumbar is a girl. No matter what she wears/likes or how she acts/talks. #OCquestion
