Eh. I ges that is something the author should hav known.
In the one article actually talking about »nuclear language« specifically, the author gets the #triad wrong
The triad is:
• land based nuclear missiles
• submarine based nuclear missiles
• airborne nuclear gravity boms and stand-off missiles

Took me quite some while to find the correct term »edited volume«/»edited collection« for what the British #Nukespeak is.

•Anthology, no, that is for fiction, and works published earlier
•Miscellany: That one is all over the place
•Primer: no, but i had to check what it is
•Polygraph: Should be the opposite of Monograph, but isn’t
•Compendium: close, but not quite
•Proceedings: yeah, no. There was no conference

I ges it’s not too odd for some editor to think rankle was spelt with a w.

OK, the British #Nukespeak is a bit shoddy in parts. From simple tipos – »to be agin them« – to Reagen being elected in 1979 and also being inaugurated on January 5 1981, to mixing up megatons (4.2 PJ) and kilotons (4.2 TJ).

Huh.
Looks like i bought the »wrong« #Nukespeak book, the British one
… »the Media and the Bomb«.

I think »the selling of nuclear technology in America« is at least the more famous one. But not the one #WoldOfBooks has to offer.
