Nog iemand hier die morgen Haren-Haren fietst ? Ik hoop dat we beter weer hebben dan vandaag. Liever geen windkracht 5 en geen regen.

Anyone else here cycling Haren-Haren tomorrow ? Let's hope not to have the same weather as today (force 5 wind, rain etc...)

@wsslmn Knap vervelend. Ook niet netjes van de ANWB. Nu heb ik al tijden het gevoel dat de W niet meer voor wielrijders staat.

Ik heb mijn E-bakfiets nooit verzekerd gehad. 12 jaar oud inmiddels.

Maar ook mijn velomobiel verzekeren is lastig.
Ben daarom lid van de #NTFU Daar ben je ook verzekerd. Maar in hoeverre ze daarmee gaan...
In elk geval tijdens deelname aan evenementen.
Dan loop ik het meeste risico.

Wat populair is/wordt is meestal niet (meer) interessant voor verzekeraars

On today's recreational ride we went to Groningen and back by an unusual circuitous route.
No-one had a fixed idea about where we should go so when we spotted some NTFU (Dutch cycle sport organisation) arrows near our start point we followed them even though we didn't know what the event was nor where the arrows would take us.
We followed about 45 km of a 120 km tour route which turned out to be the Rondom Stad ride from and to Groningen, but as we had started 80 km into their route not all that long after the official tour start time we were out of phase with the group and the many other cyclists that we saw didn't seem to be taking part in this tour.
When we arrived in Groningen at the location where the tour had begun (and would finish) the arrows ran out as they'd already removed the first ones from the the start so we then had to come up with our own route for the second half of our tour.
It was a nice day out.
I wouldn't ordinarily piggy back on an organised tour without paying to take part, but I don't think that's really what we did today, and due to being completely out of phase with the others we definitely didn't get in anyone's way.
