Did you know that old houses in Florida generally have fireplaces? We live in a 102 year old house about 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and 2 miles from Tampa Bay. All that water generally keeps us warmer than inland parts of the state in winter, but obviously these types of cold snaps were known long before we lived here. This is the fist time in 12 years that we received notification from Duke Energy that we (the collective we) are using too much energy and need to turn it down. So we are going old school tonight.

Today when I finished the blue can and poured some of the white can on top I learned the difference between Rolled and Old Fashion.

Rolled was more broken and almost dusty, old fashion, at least these, were whole flakes.. muuuch better.

Due to a misunderstanding of how PoE works, I now have a spare PoE powered 5-port switch and no way to power the PoE powered speaker that came with my fancy PoE powered doorbell/camera. Unless I plug it into the PoE switch in the basement.

The updated Photos app on my phone has a feature where it suggests pictures that I might want to use as my phone wallpaper. Mine suggested an array of nice pictures of my husband.

I asked my husband to show me what his phone suggested for him. His were all pictures of our next door neighbour’s cat.

@TankiaiTaskuota It helped, but not very strightforward. If I remember correctly, as the fist thing I made migrations to postges, then connected back to SQlite, commented out signals, made sql dump, reconected to postgres, loaded data and then uncommented signals. #nowiknow #til #dbmigration
