For company with big fat QR logo to XMPP or my website or both.

For Sparkr a simple red t-shirt with blank characters "are you tired of Grindr?" since Coruña will be the test population as it is filled with gays thanks to Amancio.

Even though I have the whole architecture laid out using Nostr I'm debating the merits of building my own Activity Pub type of server instead.

It's two MAIN things really, everything else is simple: the directory sorted by location and the e2ee chatting platform with spam avoidance.

Regular and required reminder that just because it's a norm for you, doesn't necessarily mean it's actually a norm or a standard that anyone else should be measured by. Those things you take for granted aren't givens. There are entire worlds beyond the contexts you're at home within. Your vision of the world is biased and likely flawed (by virtue of how our brains work on default settings). Adjust accordingly.

I follow a lot of people who post or boost photos of the world around us. I constantly catch myself dropping a like and moving on to the next dose of text-based misery, scrolling past them far too quickly.

A challenge for today: put myself into the photo. Imagine what it smells like, what it feels like. Is it warm or cold? Is there a breeze? What sounds are there? Water? Birds? People?

There's dopamine there - a decent amount, even. People are posting these photos to help, to show, to remind. Take advantage of it.

1) Working on simulation of individuals who communicate with each other to perform tasks--including reproduction--to see if I can replicate Dunbar's number with nothing but known human limitations. 3-5 things exhausts attention, ~10% forgetfulness per day, ~50% loss of information on every retelling. Numbers are wildly approximate but highly measureable.

It's extremely hard to keep on #writing with a consistent cadence for long. If you want to be a writer, please develop that habit, above all.

Whatever cadence you choose. Once a week? Great. Once a month? Sure. But don't miss that. And that includes not just writing but actually putting it out on your blog, at least.

Is it sufficient? Hell no.
Is it necessary? Again, not really -- but then you're already so gifted it doesn't matter.

So make that pledge. Track it. #NotesToSelf too.
