With #nospace (a MySpace twitter fusion) going well with GenZ or younger …
I’m forced to recall how many times I saw #fediverse ideas shut down because they’d be “too much like MySpace”.
The fediverse’s conceit is that all it has to do is clone the old generational platforms it’s competing with, and that it believes it isn’t generationally focused on Boomers, GenX & GenY (with GenX being the avg here IMO).
Fediverse as an “old person’s” place may happen quickly.
So there's a thing called #NoSpace now?
Oh come on. If you're going to rip off a different social network can you at least PRETEND that it's not a ripoff by giving it a totally unrelated name?
But more importantly, does it have a Top 8?
hi there. we're pondlife, a games co-op (eventually).
we're working on a videogame (no space), called pondlife: discone (a videogame).
it's a 3d-platformer that seeks to evince a sense of wonder and appreciation: no collectibles, no goals, just self-selected challenges and vibes.
historically, we've done other stuff too: games in the grass, a webzine (& performance piece/theater game) about rats.
we really like this video:
