Oh! There were delicious cherries at the farmer's market this morning. Yum!!!!
It was briefly not raining this morning, and we were able to get to the #NoeValley farmers market. There were strawberries! They taste even better than they look. There is nothing like fresh local produce.
I hope this weather doesn't cut the season too short.
Just saw on the Planning Commission agenda for next week that Framebridge is planning to open at 3822 24th St between Church and Vicksburg. Haven't walked that block in a while so don't know if there are any signs up.
The lemon shrub-like tree, on the corner of Sanchez and Jersey, is blooming and smells amazing right now.
‘NOE VALLEY — Malaysian restaurant Damansara has (effectively) closed to the public, the San Francisco Chronicle confirms. Opening in 2022, the restaurant has undergone some changes in recent months, first announcing the shift to takeout-only in December 2025, before changing more recently to “by appointment only” for private events, catering, and supper club buyouts, per the Chronicle. Owner Tracy Goh told the paper, “As a private chef now I am much happier cooking for clients who would give me full creative freedom to cook true Malaysian flavors the way I’d cook for my loved ones.”’
