Holy moly, a new first time fav! "Blood And Black Lace" leaves Criterion in a few days, so catch it soon! It is incredible (ok. The dub isn't great) and shot with such amazing compositions & lighting!
#nfotd An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl)
Every bit as beautiful and heartbreaking as has been said about, what a truly lovely film in every way. I do hope it wins the Oscar for many reasons, not the least being the attention it will bring to scannáin i nGaeilge.
#nfotd Tu me Manques
Oh my god that is very sad.
#nfotd Brittany Runs A Marathon
I liked this one very much.
#nfotd The F Word (released in America as What If)
Very sweet and charming, I do like Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan so much.

#nfotd The Fall (2006, dir Tarsem Singh)
Its a very *beautiful* film and if I was 17 when I saw it it probably would have changed my life, but it was a little more boring than I was expecting it to be, especially given how passionately people talk about it.
#nfotd Blithe Spirit (2020)
Jesus Christ, how do you make Noel Coward dull?
