Offensinitis, noun — a mental condition that makes a person overly focused on everything that can be misunderstood, especially in short posts on social media, where brevity makes it impossible to always express everything in a perfect, unmistakable way.

Example 1: He suffered from offensinitis, so they never got to talk about the substance of the matter.

Example 2: The cure to offensinitis is to ask questions instead of immediately assuming ill intent.
