BlackRock Utilities, Infrastructure & Power Opportunities Trust (NYSE: BUI) announced the successful completion of its transferable rights offer, which expired on April 2 2026. The offer gave rights holders the opportunity to subscribe for up to 6,019,793 shares of the Fund’s common stock at a final subscription price of $26.37 per share – a price calculated as 95 % of the net asset value on the expiration date.

Although the offer was undersubscribed, the Fund will allocate the full amount of shares subscribed, resulting in the issuance of more than 2.4 million common shares and generating approximately $64.6 million in proceeds. BlackRock Advisors will cover all expenses related to the offering, so the Fund will receive the entire proceeds, which it intends to invest in accordance with its investment objective and policies. Shares issued through the offer will be entitled to receive the monthly distribution expected to be payable in April 2026.

The release contains customary forward‑looking statements and cautions, noting that geopolitical events are causing market volatility but emphasizing the Fund’s confidence that increased capital investment in global infrastructure and power supply provides a strong backdrop for its strategy. Investors are urged to review the Fund’s prospectus, consider its investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses, and to check BlackRock’s website for monthly performance updates and other material information.
