Glad to have presented at #NCA2023 on Thurs our work titled “It listens to me so I feel well and connected: Investigating the influence of TikTok users’ perceived algorithm responsiveness & (in)sensitivity on well-being via self-determination. We tested our argument that social media algorithms that are responsive our needs and who we are as people are related to our general wellbeing on the platform indirectly through meeting our self-determination needs.
