Onosato (12-3) is the first rikishi in decades to win a Yusho in his first Sanyaku ranked basho. He absorbed and redirected Abi (10-5)'s charge to send him out of the dohyo.
Kotozakura (11-4) turned his hips and threw Hoshoryu (10-5) by his arm.
Daiesho (11-4)'s third charge was the charm as he finally slapped down a stubborn Kotoshoho (8-7).
Kotozakura and Daiesho share the Jun Yusho.
