TP-Link Omada SG3210X-M2
평소 mGig은 10G 보다 비싸고 느려서 평소 취급 않지만, 최근에 VMware ESX가 다시 Realtek NIC 드라이버를 지원하게 되어 하나 장만해보았다.
L2+ 스위치라는데, 관리형 L3 스위치이다. Cisco Catalyst 1300 같은 스몰 비즈니스 영역에서 경쟁하는 제품군 같다. 기능은 당연히 Cisco가 더 많다만, 내 입장에서는 L3라 해도 BGP 미지원이면 어느 브랜드든 반쪽이라 가격 문제로 수렴한다.
SFP+ 포트가 2개라 골랐을 뿐이고, 충동 구매로 35만원에 구매했던 터라 반품이 아쉬워 매우 짜증난 기억이 있다.
펌웨어 업데이트마다 기능을 추가하니 우선 라인업 만들어 판 후에 기능 만드나 싶기도 한데, 쓸 수 있는 기능이 늘어나니 좋아해야 할까? 저번 구매 직후의 펌웨어 업데이트는 오동작 해 네트워크 마비되어서 리셋 했다.

The two network card will be used in the two rack pcs I have running Proxmox. The SSD will be used to replace the existing 500GB HDD in one of the two rack pcs. The other rack pc already has an SSD replacement running in it.
