Looking back at the #mtglimited formats of 2022, here's a quick moment to think about what each one taught me.

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty taught me that just because an archetype was middling didn't mean I couldn't find my own success with it. BW was my most drafted two-color pair, and my most winning.

#mtgneo

Streets of New Capena taught me a lot about very aggressive gameplay. With a bit of coaching, I was able not block and focus on doing more damage on the crackback.

#mtgsnc

Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate taught me that it's possible to just never draft a color.

#mtghbg

Dominaria United taught me a bit about drafting and playing control. I played a lot of UB and enjoyed it. I'm glad I was able to adjust like that after HBG and SNC being so aggressive.

#mtgdmu

I think The Brother's War is teaching me that I can trust myself. I like U in BRO. It doesn't matter if the conventional wisdom is that it's the weakest color. If I'm winning with it and enjoying it, that's meaningful. (Still, I'm listening to the U haters to try to figure out how it's working for me.)

@SpiritToken maybe it's so well known to be not great that everyone is shunning it, so you're the only blue player and the well is deep?
@Artemis201 I still think U is pretty shallow, but the right few pieces together can form a good tempo package. But, yeah, if most people are off U, then I get to get those pieces more reliably.
