Bongo Fever Jack Costanzo At The Garden Of Allah by Jack Costanzo, released on Liberty in 1959.
One of the best albums ever by Mr. Bongo! This one was recorded live at the Garden Of Allah, and it features Jack Costanzo leading up a tight little group of congas/bass/drums/piano, plus some nice tenor work by Jay Corre. Tracks include "Garden Of Allah Bongo", "La Cumparasa", "Birk's Works", "Quiere", and "Bongo Fever". A very tasty bit of Latin jazz, with a sound that's more stripped down and percussive than some of Jack's other LPs! - Dusty Groove
