Adnkronos - ultimoratop: Key Energy Summit, rinnovabili e data center nel futuro energetico

(Adnkronos) - Nuovi scenari, criticità emergenti e le grandi sfide che il mercato energetico è chiamato ad affrontare sono stati delineati oggi a KEY 2026 di Italian Exhibition Group nel Key energy summit, con la presentazione, alla presenza del ministro dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, dello studio “Transizione energetica, tra scenari globali, tecnologie e governance” realizzato da Althesys (gruppo Teha). La ricerca ha analizzato il sistema elettrico europeo, le politiche energetiche e l’evoluzione del mercato, con approfondimenti su tecnologie, infrastrutture, Intelligenza artificiale e Data Center. In Italia oggi si sono raggiunti i 69 GW di richieste di connessione di data center alla rete: nel 2024 nel Paese i data center hanno consumato meno del 2% della domanda elettrica, ma le previsioni al 2035 prevedono tra il 7,4% e il 12,7% dei consumi elettrici finali (dati Snam-Terna 2024). Fra gli altri temi, anche il disaccoppiamento tra prezzo del gas e prezzo unico nazionale elettrico. Alla presentazione della ricerca è seguita una Tavola Rotonda in due sessioni con le proposte delle Associazioni, a cui hanno partecipato Gianni Vittorio Armani, presidente di Elettricità Futura, Andrea Cristini, presidente di Anie Rinnovabili, Simone Togni, presidente di Anev, Paolo Rocco Viscontini, presidente di Italia solare, Paolo Picco, presidente di Federidroelettrica, Giacomo Cantarella, presidente di Assoesco, Dario Di Santo, direttore di FIRE, Alberto Dossi, presidente di H2IT, Attilio Piattelli, presidente di Coordinamento Free, e Fabio Pressi, presidente di Motus-E. L’evento si è aperto con i saluti istituzionali di Corrado Peraboni, amministratore delegato di Italian Exhibition Group, e Maria Sicilia Salvadores, Head of Electricity Sistems & Markets Divison dell’Iea International Energy Agency. Le conclusioni sono state affidate a Vinicio Mosè Vigilante, amministratore delegato di Gse, e Lennart van Walsum, Director EMEIA & Americas di Global Solar Council.

Key Energy Summit, renewables and data centers in the future of energy.

(Adnkronos) - New scenarios, emerging criticalities, and the major challenges that the energy market is called to face were outlined today at KEY 2026 of Italian Exhibition Group at the Key energy summit, with the presentation, in the presence of the Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, of the study “Energy Transition, between global scenarios, technologies and governance” carried out by Althesys (Teha group). The research analyzed the European electricity system, energy policies and the evolution of the market, with in-depth analysis on technologies, infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence and Data Centers. In Italy today, 69 GW of requests for data center connection to the grid were reached: in 2024 in the country, data centers consumed less than 2% of electricity demand, but forecasts to 2035 predict between 7.4% and 12.7% of final electricity consumption (Snam-Terna 2024 data). Among other topics, also the decoupling between gas price and the single national electricity price.
