@LillyHerself@mastodon.social I agree, but I don't know of any other way on Pixelfed to make photos accessible, discoverable, and categorisable across multiple languages. I understand it's the trade-off for not having images (and ads) force-fed to you by algorithms. I, for one, follow a variety of hashtags that might seem random to you, but they help me discover content I enjoy on Pixelfed. Feel free to ignore or block me if it's too much

Thank you! 😊 I don't know a thing about butterflies (or insects in general), and these were the two options I was presented. I think both are likely according to their distribution info, and they're very hard to tell apart apparently 🤷‍♀️
