I tend to take many buses and trains in the winter time in Berlin and spend some of that time waiting at bus stops and train stations. Most overground train stations in Berlin are built like greenhouses, with many windows, and bus stops are usually outside. I often imagine how beautiful it would be if these stations were filled with greenery. Plants offer soo much more than aesthetic delight ... they clean air, reinforce structures, invite other animals to rest and provide an overall sense of calm... I mean if train companies are going to maintain stations, why not add plants, and if passengers are going to wait, why not make it enjoyable #SolarPunkCities #berlinbvg #moreplants ...ps.
