NSW Police Aviation Command (#POLAIR) has stationed two drones in #Moree, to be remotely operated from Bankstown Airport, for proactive aerial surveillance. The six-month trial will see the drones used as “eyes in the skies” to assist first-response police officers."

In cases when people were “incredibly hostile”, program staff would “proactively engage with the police to escort us and to keep the peace and to keep everyone safe in that environment, because we need to complete the treatment”
