Being undead, the admiral needs regular checkups from the Biology Division, but also from the Thaumaturgy Division's mend mages to undo and halt any rotting that has managed to start taking place, as well as refreshing the animation enchantment that keeps him active.
He's full of so many mundane and magical preservatives that, aside from his very obvious un-mendable wounds, you might not even realize he's a walking, shit-talking corpse!
...Of course, if you actually somehow don't realize that, he will make it very clear to you in the most sarcastic and condescending way possible.
