The top review of _Robo Vampire_ on IMDB ("Ed Wood is alive, and working for the Japanese!!!") was interesting. Apparently there's an actor change halfway through a fight scene.
Something for @intheseheels to look out for, so I'm not going to say who or what.
Simple English Wikipedia drops the hint that these movies had quite flexible titling.
The supposed prequel in the series from 1987, complete with a dead policeman named Alex (by coincidence), was variously titled _Devil's Dynamite_ and _Robo Ninja vs Vampires_ we are told.
Reading that question entirely out of context, I had to chuckle at _Robo Vampire_ as a film title. It just *sounds* like it's going to be poor from the title alone. It's one of those titles.
And a quick Bing search later the poster tells me that it's a mockbuster that's cashing in on the popularity of _Robocop_ from the year before.
Then IMDB tells me that Godfrey Ho directed 40 movies in 1988 alone. Ah!
