I am confused, in ep 1 i already see a character from the comics popping up there (That unicorn filly that i don't know anything bout cuz i didn't read the comics yet) and everything seems... how can i say, really different, the overhaul vibe of the show seems to have shifted a good bit, and i'm not sure if i liked it...
Like, i never expected to see the "little rhyming character catchphrases" cliche in #mlp, but ok

Did Sonic Fan Fest, and cosplayed as Lanolin the sheep. Folks recognised it so yay :D
MLP g5 continues to be awesome and I loved the latest chapter. Also Tell Your Tale released an episode intended for after the first few episodes of chapter 6, but the release schedule of Make Your Mark got changed. As a result, we got an early look at new characters. One is a total waifu :3

@yoshter7 I enjoy TYT's writing, acting, and music but dislike the art style, mostly for what they do to the ponies' legs.
Pony legs are supposed to taper such that they're thicker at the hoof than at the shoulder/thigh, and it's one of my favorite things about how ponies look. But half the TYT ponies get "finger legs" instead which look unsettling to me at best.
And then, they also have a habit of frequently breaking the ponies' hindlegs by posing them impossibly like a human leg. Looks bad every time.
I'm not a fan of how they drew the ponies' heads and faces either, especially Hitch's and Izzy's. The mouths should really be... narrower, not wider, than the rest of the head, considering they're part of the snout.
I don't actually hate TYT, if this sounds harsh. I always enjoy it and look forward to each new episode! But as someone who was always drawn to the aesthetic look of ponies, its visual decisions grate me.
