Today's #Halloween #horror movie is a George Pal classic: The War of the Worlds (1953). It stars Ann Robinson and Gene Barry. Barry plays Dr. Clayton Forrester -- a name many #MiSTies will recognize from #MST3K. This entire production is nothing short of amazing for the era, both visually and narratively.

There's a lot of bad science in this one, but it's easy to criticize from seventy years into THE FUTURE! I'm sure we'll look dumb to future humans... assuming Idiocracy stops coming true.

Always good to see Joel back on #MST3K.
