My latest jigsaw puzzle: The Story of Ireland, 500 pieces. Every puzzler's nightmare - a missing piece. Did it ship without it, or has the mysterious kinetic energy some puzzles pieces possess randomly scatter it somewhere about the house. I have turned my workspace upside looking for it, but, alas, no luck. Very frustrating! An interesting puzzle nonetheless that would have been easier with a greater knowledge of Irish geography and history.

I'm wondering if the fear of rejection has anything to do with one's childhood.

I remember when I was a kid my parents used to say something like, "We'd send you to the orphanage." when I didn't obey to what they said. They would pretend to make a phone call with the head of orphanage in which at the time I thought was real.

Maybe that's why...
