RCS is once again the bane of my existence. My backup iPhone apparently made it so that the group chat with the girls got upgraded to RCS. Now that I am on my new LineageOS phone, I no longer have RCS support. Instead of failing gracefully to MMS, I am just no longer able to receive messages from the group. Recreating it doesn't work, either.

I wish I could just convince them to switch to Signal.
