That’s basically the story of the past 25 years. Matty Moroun and his spawn have been calling billionaire buddies to argue for their permanent monopoly on bridge crossing between Detroit and Windsor for as long as I’ve lived in Michigan. It didn’t work on Rick Snyder, thankfully. Even still, the only way it got past the #MIGOP legislature back then was Canada calling their bluff on funding.
