Before the #MichiganPanthers and #BattleHawks kicked-off to start their first #UFL game Rip58 snapped their great view from behind Michigan’s home sideline.

Both teams are playoff bound, with two regular season games left to play. If they meet again it’ll be on June 16th, in St. Louis, for the Championship game.

Don't know if anyone is watching the #ufl game #stlouisbattlehawks vs #michiganpanthers but the field goal kicker for Michigan just kicked a game winning 64 yarder. He's a kickoff guy who hasn't attempted a field goal since highschool. He never kicked a field goal in college.

The #MichiganPanthers knock the #PhiladelphiaStars out of the playoffs in the final game of the USFL season, 23-20. It's not the first time that happened. In 1983, Michigan beat Philadelphia in the very 1st #USFL Championship Game. QB #BobbyHerbert, who went on to have a 12-year career in the #NFL, was named the game's MVP.

I like that the #MichiganPanthers will be playing their home games at #FordField this year. For those old enough to remember, their winning the #USFL championship in 1983 was a big deal for #OnePride #Lions fans who were frustrated with losing. GO PANTHERS!

For first year at Ford Field, Michigan Panthers will have a new coach

Jeff Fisher has stepped down as head coach of the Panthers after one season. His replacement is Mike Nolan, former head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.
