Further #Melbourne #MICF recommendations as we approach the final week of the festival:

• For a story that reflects our times, but also our hearts - both political and poetic - go see Cassie Workman. Superb.
• For a hilariously silly take on Swan Lake: Elf Lyons
• For strong stand-up that touches on queerness and relationships (amongst a variety of topics), both Felicity Ward and Chloe Petts are very funny.
• For entertaining musings on race and colonisation, but also fertility challenges: Sashi Perera.

If a mixture of storytelling and comedy might be your kind of thing, do go see Cassie Workman's You Are Here at #MICF. Her show has moments of light and darkness, poetry and sharpness, and the whole thing is filled with so much heart. I laughed a lot, I felt a lot. My pick of the festival thus far.
