Judicial Hurdles: SCOTUS invented a new immunity doctrine to shield Trump.
Delays: Judge Cannon stalled and dismissed the documents case on widely criticized grounds.
If your theory of democracy is that the justice system should have removed your political opponent from contention so voters never got the chance to choose him, you don't actually believe in democracy. You believe in outcomes.
You wanted Trump gone and you don't particularly care how it happened, and when it didn't happen, you needed someone to blame who wasn't the voters themselves.
