Shark and crocodile warning as 10 melon-headed #whales found on Kimberley beach.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation & Attractions says 10 melon-headed whales have now been found dead north of #Broome.

A public warning is in place due to an increased risk of sharks & crocodiles in the area.

Biological samples have been taken from the animals for testing to find out how they died.

A pod of Melon-headed Whales was being chased, but it was split in two groups. One group escaped to the sea. However, the other group of 8 Melon-headed was driven into the Cove and all were killed and brought to the butcher's house.
