Still learning #freecad found the part of the program for doing #FEA (finite element analysis) deformation under extreme force. Just playing around color coding is Z-axis displacement. (Totally NOT a serious mechanical design.)
Back in the mid 1990s this sort of thing had to be run on a supercomputer. There may be a #mechanicalengineer who did this on a system like that way back when. Mechanical stuff really isn’t my forte.
