After weeks of little maintenance needed for my #SBo #slackbuilds, suddenly had four releases this week 😅:
- #dracut #dracut-ng 107
- #keychain 2.9.0 & 2.91.1, first releases in 7 years, #danielrobbins back
- #mbuffer 20250429
- #openzfs 2.3.2

#slackware #zfs

Is this "Big Data"? :P #mbuffer #Linux
summary: 6948 GiByte in 10h 37min 19.6sec - average of 186 MiB/s, 120x full

So einem #mbuffer bei der Arbeit zuschaun:

in @ 47.9 MiB/s, out @ 79.9 MiB/s, 459 GiB total, buffer 82% full

Könnte ich stundenlang zuschaun...

Second day of coping data. I moved from #tar and #mbuffer to #rclone for handling them. First error ruined whole progress, so i switched to something dedicated. It's slower tho. I think one of files is damaged and not readable from source.

Sadly its the biggest file on the NAS - the clone image of the drive. Lesson learned - next time i need spit this 700GB+ monster to 1GB parts and secure them with #par2.

My drives are slow SMR drives, so i copy them with simple bash oneliner similar to:

tar cv --from-file /path/to/filelist | mbuffer -m 1G | tar xv -C /path/to/drive

Thank you #mbuffer and #tar creators for awesome tools.

Jemand Ideen?
