I saw a recent #MaxTech video comparing the #iPhone16 to the #iPhone15 where they tested game performance, and realtime ray tracing on the 16 seemingly wasn't using any battery at all.

As someone who was doing #3d art back in the 90's and knowing getting a single image like that would take hours to calculate, it's beyond comprehension that we have tiny computers in our pocket that do this in realtime at 30/60/whatever frames per second with so little power draw it might as well be free. 🤪

This is what I bought this week. In the UK it’s £799 from Amazon (£667 + VAT). Amazon offered me zero interest 5 x £160 per month payment option. I used that.

The MacBook Air M1 is a fab portable Mac. Even in the base configuration.
