@KateDahlstrand One nice feature of Mastodon or the fediverse is you can subscribe to or "follow" a hashtag. So you could search for #history or #historians , see if the results are what you're looking for, and subscribe to that. Once you find a few, they might use other hashtags that would be helpful. And there are bound to be people using some weird, strained pun on Mastodon+history similar to #bookstodon or #MastoHistory.
