@mobilizon do you have an ActivityPub account from which you only post in english ? I cannot read French but would like to follow the progress on your promising project.

Alternativaly, do you know if it is possible to configure the Mastodon account (or client) so to only show posts in languages I'm able to read ?

I think something that would help Mastodon tremendously is if it's apps and websites had a character limit in the main feed and then a "read more" link when any post hit that limit. There are too many instances that deviate from the 500 character limit and allow much longer posts. Even 500 is a lot when you are quickly scanning your feed.
