There appears to be a bug in the user icons displayed in the web version of mastodon v4.3.1 on the notifications page. The same user icon can show up multiple times.

This has happened on many of my posts for the past few days.

If you are connected to firewalled wifi and attempt to post in the Mastodon app you *do not* get an error. Your post is eaten. Deleted forever.

I wrote this amazing post and it’s gone. This has happened before. Other apps say “cannot post” when firewalled. Seems like bug.

(please don’t tell me to use a different app I have four apps each with their own issues- the purpose of this post is to check if it’s fair to call it a bug)

While I too am glad to hear good news, this is what I’m talking about when I say we need an interface that merges these into one. All the articles, all the comments. Together.

...though I would of course prefer it if people always provided their own alttext when they post an image, unless the image is adequately described in the post itself.

or media only for art feeds

I try to be a good person but it's easy to forget that not putting caps in multi-word hash tags makes them terrible for screen readers.

It's important like putting the captions on your images.
