Dal punto di vista politico, auspicano di costruire una democrazia islamica, ovvero un governo non laico. Storicamente #Massoud è figlio del leader che combatté la #Jihad contro il Fronte Democratico Popolare negli anni '70.

The tunnel was built by engineers and construction crews from Soviet Union in 1958 – 1964 as part of the wide ranging infrastructure buildout in Afghanistan carried out by USSR. During civil war it was blown up in 1997 by forces of Ahmad Shah #Massoud in order to prevent #Taliban fighters from coming through it
