Traders in Herat has donated 15 million AFN (approximately 236,000 USD) in humanitarian aid to the people of Iran through the Iranian consulate in Herat Province.

Alireza Marhamati, Iran’s Consul General in Herat, stated that the funds will be used to repair schools and health clinics across Iran, damaged by recent U.S. and Israeli strikes in Iran.

Mohammad Younis Qazizada, Director of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, emphasized that Afghanistan will continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Iran through ongoing humanitarian support.

The Kabul-Parwan-Bamyan highway has reopened.

In order to facilitate the people, personnel from the Parwan Provincial Defense Force have reopened the highway that was closed in the Shinoar area of Ghorband district, Parwan province, due to heavy rainfall and flooding.
