Sure, those guys (you know the names) can play. But have you heard Marnie Stern? She’s among the best guitarists and composers in rock.
There aren’t many guitarists who fire neurons in my brain that aren't related to music. Marnie is one of them. Her playing and layering of melodies is out of sight.
And, well, her songs are just bangin' overall.

My favorite artist right now is Marnie Stern. She’s absolute fire. Kind of a more punk version of Liz Phair, with flavors of Blondie and Deerhoof.
Three months back she released a new single. I’m hoping for a new record this year. 🤞🏻
Also, Rolling Stone rightfully included her on their list of 250 greatest guitarists of all time. I concur.
