It is a darker take on Justice League, so the bodycount is the same, but their victims die on screen, instead of off-screen on their way to hospital due to terminal brain trauma and internal bleeding. It is one of the alternative universes where writers can have fun by remixing the existing Ips. And this world is so insane that a wedding on Apokolips milliards of light years away, are conducted just like on earth. They even got petals on the lava planet.
So is it supercuck or cuckerman? The main part of the film is that Supermen is a mass-murder dictator because he is a son of Zod and was brought up by mexican migrants. So this film says all criminals are genetically criminal? Or does this film put the blame on mexicans again, for improperly raising estupendohombre? While in most continuities superman parents are good, the core of the Superman character is nurture over nature, and that he is so good despite being a yankeestani is because he was brought up by good farmers who taught him to never be bad. Therefore everything wrong with this guy is either the fault of his genes or the mexicans.
A hard childhood is only an excuse for serial killers. Most people have hard childhoods. It can push bad people into terrible people, but usually it is no more than pushes good people to be average people.
Considering how i saw TV BS re-write people’s memories and opinions over my lifetime before my eyes, now i believe that one rich man can do enormous harm by manipulating sheeple. Yankees would think i am talking about their country in whatever year they read this. Ha-ha, they didn’t even sniff a true dictatorship yet.
The story, plot, and writing are solid. The animations is solid. The only things i dislike about this film is the real-life implications they made. And not by a mistake. You can not miss an elephant in the room when it is of that size.
