Die Serie wurde in DE zwischen 1990 und 1999 ausgestrahlt. Ich kann also maximal 10 Jahre alt gewesen sein. Offensichtlich war ich also schon als Kind dazu in der Lage, festzustellen, dass mein Geschlecht/Name und mein innerstes Wesen irgendwie nicht zusammenpassen.

Letztens ist mir ja eine meiner ersten trans Erfahrungen in der Kindheit eingefallen:
Mein Bruder und ich haben ständig zusammen die Ninja Turtles Zeichentrickserie angeschaut. Und ich hab mir immer gewünscht, ich könnte April O'Neil sein, die starke Reporterin. In meinem Kopf hab ich mich selbst damals immer April genannt. Das hat so gut gepasst, weil ich auch im April Geburtstag habe.
