Back from my second Cyanotype class. I'm making pieces I like much better using the wet cyanotype technique. It combines the treated paper with botanical subjects but also adds water, mild acid (lemon juice or lime juice), salt, and red tea leaves. These are the six pieces I created today; only the first one is the dry technique. I like the last two the best. Very abstract. #MakeArt

I'm back. The big thing I did today was attend the first of four sessions of a cyanotype class. I made five prints; here are four of them. Nothing special; we're going to be tinting and modifying them in other ways and future classes.

In the meantime, I think I'm going to explore anthrotype, which is another photo sensitive technique that uses turmeric powder. I'm going to mix up a batch and prepare the paper tonight so I can put them in the sun tomorrow. #MakeArt #MakeAnything #KeepLearning
