I see the brink coming into view,

The youngster pulled up in the second turn lane. Jack shrugged internally. That's probably Mom's gigantic SUV, judging by the stick figure family in the lower left of the hatch window, next to the Earthfriend-Recycle bumper sticker (Yes, on the window). Jack noted when he'd passed the thing. The kid smiled and barked out "Nice bike!".
Jack nodded toward the kid. Lit up a smoke and scanned the sky. He'd be catching the rain soon, by the looks of the thunderclouds. #madverse
